A local, highly reputable health system is seeking an experienced, career-focused Wound Care Leader to join their team within one of their state-of-the-art facilities within the Chicago suburbs! This position is open to due to growth and is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to join an organization where they can take part in the growth and on-going development of a multi-disciplinary team of therapists, physicians, nurses, etc…all of which are specialize and come with various levels of experience when it comes to working with routine to medically complex wounds with patients of all ages.

As the Wound Care Clinical Leader, you are responsible for the oversight of all aspects of Wound Care Services including utilization of resources, quality outcomes, and the coordination and integration of interdisciplinary care between inpatient, outpatient, and community based services. The Clinical Leader for Wound Care performs the function of a leader and role model in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and providing patient care in the area of specialization, taking into consideration the special needs and behaviors of the specific age and characteristics of the population. The Clinical Leader for Wound Care will hold responsibility to assess, reassess, plan for, and implement actions and evaluate outcomes not only as they relate to patient care issues, but also staff, program, and organizational/system issues.

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000/yr (+/-Depending on Experience)

Qualifications:

• IL RN License
• Wound Care Certification – highly preferred
• Must be highly skilled and an experience in Wound Care practices
• Strong management skills
• Hospital-based leadership experience highly preferred
