Job Details

• Employment Type: Local, On-Site
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 27, 2025
• End Date: April 26, 2025
• Shift: 8 Hour Days, 5 shifts per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1580 - $1700

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Graduate of a certified sterile processing technician training program
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in sterile processing
• CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) or CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) required
• CIS (Certified Instrument Specialist) or CSIS (Certified Surgical Instrument Specialist) preferred
• CHL (Certified Health Care Leader) or CSPM (Certified in Sterile Processing Management) within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate assigned shift operations and services
• Oversee quality control in the sterile processing department
• Assist with staff training and development
• Perform routine quality and safety checks
• Participate in process improvement initiatives
• Manage surgical instruments and troubleshoot technical problems
• Ensure verification of pre and post sterilization quality indicators
• Maintain knowledge and ability to use Instrument Tracking System
