A reputable physician-owned and operated healthcare organization in the Greater Syracuse Area is seeking to hire a full-time and part-time Licensed Social Workers (LSW, LCSW or LPC) to join their team!

Responsibilities:
As the Licensed Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing mental health services within a corrections setting.

• You’ll provide mental health services such as intake, crisis intervention, individual counseling and group counseling

• Analyze psychological/psychosocial aspects of individual interrelationships to gain understanding of an individual’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors

• Act as a member of the treatment team to determine, coordinate and implement appropriate inmate/patient care

• Prepare and maintains progress notes and discharge summaries on patients

• Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment for all inmate/patients

• Facilitate regular therapeutic groups that address specific identified treatment issues and reinforces the inmate/patient’s treatment plan

• Provide referrals for inmate/patient for services once discharged

Schedules Available:

• Part-Time: 7a-3:30p, 2 shifts/week

• Part-Time: 2:30p-11p, 2 shifts/week

• Full-Time: 8a-5p

Compensation & Benefits:  $40 to $44/hour

• 3 Weeks PTO + 6 Holidays

Requirements:

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field

• Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New York
