Join our healthcare team as a Regional Operations Manager, specializing in Release of Information (ROI) operations across multiple sites in the central Midwest Region, with a focus on Michigan.

This pivotal role ensures compliance with company goals, client policies, and federal/state regulations. Ideal candidates will be based in or around Michigan and will excel in client communication, project management, strategic planning, and staffing.

Job Details

• Employment Type: Permanent

• Start Date: December 16, 2024

• Salary: $82,000 annually

• Shift: 8 Hour Days

• Location: Central Midwest Region, preferably Michigan

Job Requirements

• Minimum High School Diploma / GED required

• Bachelor’s and/or Associate's Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Credentialed RHIT or RHIA preferred

• Minimum five (5) years of supervisory/management experience in Health Information Management in an acute care hospital or clinic setting

• Experience supervising a minimum of 20 full-time employees

• Strong knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and MS Excel

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, including overnight stays as necessary

Responsibilities

• Oversee ROI operations across all sites, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and regulations

• Conduct meetings with client management to review operations and provide guidance

• Manage regional P&L and budgetary performance

• Recruit, hire, and train staff, ensuring competency in all aspects of ROI

• Conduct quarterly business reviews and performance evaluations

• Promote a positive image of the company with an emphasis on customer service

• Improve regional processes to achieve company goals
