We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Manager for Patient Access to oversee operations across multiple healthcare facilities in the vibrant Philadelphia area. Job Details
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours Per Week: 40
- Location: Philadelphia, PA
- Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000 per year (depending on experience)
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 11 years of experience managing staff in patient access, physician practice management, revenue cycle management, or healthcare administration.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive leadership experience in patient access, physician practice management, revenue cycle management, or healthcare administration.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing practices, and insurance requirements.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and healthcare EHR applications such as EPIC and Cerner.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master's degree and HFMA Certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to patient access teams within the assigned region.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise departmental leadership staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Oversee all aspects of patient access services, including registration, insurance verification, and customer service.
- Monitor key performance indicators and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Champion a patient-centered approach to care, prioritizing empathy and responsiveness in all patient interactions.
- Implement initiatives to improve access to care, reduce wait times, and streamline the registration process.
- Serve as a liaison between patient access teams and other departments to facilitate communication and collaboration.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess the accuracy and completeness of patient registration and financial data.
