Regional Business Office Manager - Healthcare

Join our healthcare team as a Regional Business Office Manager, where you'll oversee business office operations across multiple locations within Baltimore MD and the surrounding areas.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years in business office management, financial management, or operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Skills:
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent financial and budget management abilities
  • Proficiency in office management systems and financial software
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with various departments
  • Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations (e.g., accounting standards, compliance requirements)
  • Certifications: CPA or other relevant certifications a plus

    Responsibilities

    • Leadership & Team Management:
    • Lead and supervise a team of business office staff across multiple locations within the region
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure high levels of staff performance and morale
    • Conduct regular performance reviews, set team goals, and develop professional development plans for team members
  • Financial Management:
  • Oversee the financial operations of the business office, including billing, collections, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and adherence to financial policies
  • Develop and manage budgets for the regional offices, identifying areas for cost reduction and financial improvement
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to senior leadership
  • Operational Oversight:
  • Ensure consistent application of operational procedures and policies across all business offices in the region
  • Monitor office workflows and processes to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
  • Support regional offices in resolving operational challenges and ensuring optimal functioning of daily activities
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure all business office operations comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Coordinate internal and external audits as required, ensuring compliance with financial and operational standards
  • Implement best practices to mitigate risk and ensure data privacy and security
  • Customer Service & Relationship Management:
  • Foster a customer-centric culture within the business office, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for both internal and external stakeholders
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex issues, addressing concerns promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Sales, HR, IT) to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization within the business office and across regional offices
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving workflow, reducing errors, and increasing productivity
  • Prepare and present regular reports on office performance, key metrics, and project progress to senior management
  • Technology & Systems Management:
  • Oversee the effective use of office management software and tools to streamline processes
  • Ensure team members are properly trained on technology platforms and tools used in business office operations
  • Strategic Planning & Growth:
  • Contribute to regional growth initiatives and business development by supporting strategic planning and executing initiatives to expand business office operations
  • Collaborate with senior management on business goals and help to implement strategies to achieve them
