Sleep Disorder Specialist, Respiratory Therapist ( RRT )

We are currently engaged in a search with a reputable Specialty Physician Practice which is seeking a Sleep Disorder Specialist, Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Henry County, GA.

• Full time, permanent opportunity
• Monday-Friday (office hours) No weekends or holidays

Scope of responsibility:

• Setting up and programming sleep therapy equipment and supplies for patient use
• Assess patients going on CPAP Therapy and troubleshoot patient compliance issues
• Evaluates patient's tolerance to CPAP Therapy to determine the need for additional intervention
• Educates patients on how to properly use and maintain CPAP equipment
• Properly documents in Athena (patient's electronic medical record) chart as appropriate care is given
• Properly maintain and clean CPAP equipment per OSHA guidelines
• Provides other respiratory devices to patients and educates patients
• Adherence to department policies and procedures and company culture
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• License: Registered Respiratory Therapist (Required)
• Respiratory Therapist, 1 year (Preferred)
• Required travel: 75%
• Time management skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)
• Knowledge of current CPAP therapy and various modes of delivery
• Equipment knowledge, including masks and headgear
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Work well with others in a group
• Strong team member
• Excellent service skills including compassion
