Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health / Inpatient Psych

A large, reputable non-profit healthcare organization is seeking career-focused RNs for Inpatient Behavioral Health opportunities in multiple locations throughout NJ!

This is a great opportunity to join a stable healthcare organization and work within a large inpatient psychiatric hospital that specializes in psych and addiction treatment. The location consists of over 200 inpatient psych beds, a detox and rehab center and a large adolescent residential facility. Additionally, they offer a fully accredited educational facility for emotionally disturbed middle and high school children.

As a full-time Behavioral Health RN, you will have the opportunity to treat patients of all ages with a wide range of illnesses, including anxiety, depression, dementia and substance dependence.

They currently have needs for RN’s on their various areas, including:

• Adolescents Psych and Dual Diagnosis
• Adult Psych & Addiction
• Acute Care Unit
• Residential Addiction Recovery Center
• Older Adult/Geriatric Psych, Dual Diagnosis
• General Adult Unit

Available Schedules/Shifts:

• Full-time & Part-time
• Days, Evenings & Nights
• Weekend Programs
• 8 and 12 hour shifts

Compensation: $85,000 - $117,000/year (depending on experience)

• Shift Differentials for evenings and nights

Qualifications:

• NJ Licensed Registered Nurse, or ability to apply
• 2 years of inpatient behavioral health/psych experience - highly preferred
• Will accept new graduate Registered Nurses or RNs with no behavioral health experience that come with a strong clinical background and a genuine interest in this population
• BSN preferred

Salary: $84,000.00 - $117,000.00 per year

Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Experience:

• Behavioral health hospital: 1 year (Preferred)
• Addiction medicine: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• RN License (Preferred)
