Job Details

  • Location: Oswego, NY 13126
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
  • Shift: 12 Hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM, Every Other Weekend
  • Compensation: Base Rate: $34.00-$43.45/hour (Depending on Experience)
  • Enhanced Rate: $55/hour for qualified candidates who waive medical benefits
  • Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 - $30,000 (based on experience)
  • Shift Differentials:
    • 10% for shifts from 3 PM to 11 PM
    • 25% for shifts from 11 PM to 7 AM
    • Additional 10% on weekends

Job Requirements

  • Valid NY RN License
  • 1-2 years of Medical/Surgical experience preferred, open to new graduates
  • Strong clinical background and sharp nursing skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg unit
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor patient progress and document care accurately
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care
