Registered Nurse, RN Team Lead - Short Term Rehab

Join our New York healthcare team as a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Team Leader in the Short Term Rehab Unit at our Long-Term Care facility. This permanent role offers a unique opportunity to lead a team of healthcare professionals, ensuring top-tier patient care and operational excellence.

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Hours Per Week: 36
  • Shift Duration: 12 Hour, Night Shift & Day Shift Available
  • Salary Range: $75,000 - $102,000/yr (Depending on Experience)

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) setting
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • COVID vaccination (at least the initial doses)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the clinical operations of the Short Term Rehab Unit
  • Assist with patient admissions and manage staffing for call-outs
  • Address pharmacy concerns and pronounce deaths if necessary
  • Report directly to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)
  • Ensure effective communication and customer service within the unit
