Pay Rate
Local: 95-98 Hourly (paid weekly and eligible for health benefits)
Weekly Take Home (after estimated taxes): $3,406/week after an estimated 25% tax rate
$1876.00 a week untaxed Daily Stipend (must be traveling over 50 Miles and be able to prove duplicating expenses)
The Psychologist assumes a pivotal role in the development and implementation of non-medical professional psychological service programs within the facility. This role entails overseeing and guiding a team of professionals responsible for delivering psychological services to inmates or residents. The ideal candidate is expected to excel in the following responsibilities, aligned with the performance standards of the position:
Conduct in-depth psychological screenings and assessments by meticulously reviewing available records and conducting clinical interviews with inmates.
Foster collaborative relationships with fellow members of the mental health team, including psychiatrists, mental health service providers, physicians, nurses, and social workers. This collaboration ensures the seamless exchange of information concerning patients' psychological issues, facilitating the integration of treatment activities and the provision of comprehensive follow-up care.
Minimum Qualifications:
Holds a Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited college or university.
Maintains a current and unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of practice.
Possesses a minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a similar role.
Holds a valid driver's license.
Meets the minimum age requirement of at least 18 years old.
