This role offers a competitive salary of $145,000 - $163,000 per year, along with a generous $10,000 sign-on bonus.   • Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
  • Location: Washington, DC
  • Schedule: Full-time, 10-hour days
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Travel Requirements: More than 50%

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or related fields
  • Graduate with an advanced degree from an accredited institution
  • Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Nationally board certified, current
  • Current BLS required, ACLS certification preferred
  • Prescriptive authority and DEA
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends required

Responsibilities

  • Work as part of a clinical care team with a Medical Technician to deliver care in the patient’s home
  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses
  • Provide therapeutic interventions, such as splinting, suturing, wound care, and minor procedures
  • Use critical thinking skills and follow evidence-based standards of practice
  • Accurately document patient encounters and ensure accuracy
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange appropriate follow-up for the patient
  • Educate patients and families on managing their health and well-being
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics
  • Maintain positive relationships with Medical Technician partners and remote teams
  • Lead your practice and always do what’s right for the patient
