Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - In Home Urgent Care

Our client is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide in-home urgent care services around Las Vegas NV.

**You will be travelling with a Medical Technician, and you do not need to use your own car**
Schedule:
- Full time, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 14 shifts per month (ability to work more, if preferred)
- 8AM-6PM, 9AM-7PM, 10AM-8PM or 12PM-10PM
- Weekend requirement: 4 shifts per month (every other weekend or one weekend shift per week)
- Ability to block your schedule, if preferred (E.g. work 6 days in a row and then take the next 6 days off)
- Caseload: 6-8 in home patient visits per day
Compensation: $80/hour

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical evaluations
- Provide direct patient care services such as suturing, stapling, splinting, IV medication administration, catheter insertion, UTI treatment, rapid infectious disease testing, wound care and more
- Work collaboratively with a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and comprehensive interdisciplinary team including RN’s, Social Workers, Dietitians, a Medical Technician, etc.
- Prescribe all necessary medications/treatments and educate patients/families about medication usage
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in physician assistant studies
- Current unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- 1+ year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably within Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine or Primary Care
- Experience with suturing and splinting
- Current BLS / ACLS certification
- Prescriptive authority and DEA license
