Job Details

• Location: Rochester, NY
• Start Date: December 9, 2024
• End Date: March 8, 2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week
• Pay Range: $4,351-$4,835 per week
• Employment Type: Travel

Job Requirements

• Acute Care NCCPA certified - will consider pending NYS license
• Minimum of 3 years critical care experience
• Experience in Arterial/Main Line Placement
• Neurosurgical or Neurology experience is highly preferred
• Motivated, flexible, and independent with excellent clinical skills in critical care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care for patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures and medical neurology patients
• Perform admission work-ups, daily management including complex ventilator management, central lines, arterial lines, and transfer/discharge
• Precept students and support unit-based nurses
• Participate in the education of learners, using clinical learning experiences, knowledge sharing, and skill training
