Physician Assistant – Primary Care
 

GHR healthcare is partnered with a government healthcare network in pursuit of experienced Physician Assistants for a long term (1-5 years) contract working in Primary Care.  This would be serving the military veterans in a Primary Care Clinic.   The ideal candidate will bring at least one year of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience as a Physician Assistant. 

 

Job Details

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,000-3,5000/ week
  • Setting: Primary Care Clinic
  • Start Date: 7/1/2024
  • Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm 
  • Duration: 52 weeks minimum. Can extend through a 5 year period.

 

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of Primary Care Experience treating the Adult Patient Population
  • Valid License as a Physician Assistant in the state of North Carolina  
  • BLS Certification

 

Responsibilities

  • Patient assessment and documentation of medical history, diagnosis and plan of care  
  • Initiates, orders and evaluates plans of care for panel of outpatient clients
  • Follow-up exams for medication management and monitoring
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary care team
