Job Details

• Location: Abington, Pennsylvania
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start Date: 01/13/2025 - End Date: 04/18/2025)
• Shift: 8 Hour Days, 5 shifts per week
• On-Call: Yes, occasional weeknight call back or weekend call in for OR cases
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $5210 - $5590

Job Requirements

• Valid PA Licensure
• 2 years of experience in cardiothoracic surgery
• Experience with first assisting in cardiac OR
• Ability to endoscopically harvest vein for bypass
• Proficiency in opening and closure of sternum
• Experience with Epic EMR system is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in cardiac OR procedures including CABG, mitral valve surgery, and aortic valve surgery
• Perform endoscopic vein harvesting for bypass surgeries
• Manage patient care in the CVICU as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in on-call duties as required
