Physical Therapist Assistant – Rehab, Senior Living (IN-HOUSE Therapy Dept!)
A large, non-profit, and reputable healthcare organization is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join their IN-HOUSE therapy department within their gorgeous, state-of-the-art Retirement Community in Montgomery County MD.
This is truly a wonderful organization to be a part of! In addition to providing quality, patient-focused healthcare services, they are very focused on providing employees with a positive work environment and healthy work/life balance with realistic productivity expectations. There is very minimal turnover in the rehab department, and everyone has a collaborative, all-hands-on-deck mentality.
In addition, they have a Rehab Runner to help transport patients from their residence within the community to the rehab gym, allowing more time for therapists to focus on patient care.
As a full-time PTA, you will work alongside a tenured, seasoned team of therapists while providing physical therapy care for patients within their skilled nursing facility. From long term care and short-term rehab to 1-day orthopedic rehab and home health services, this is a great opportunity to work with the geriatric population throughout their long-term and short-term rehab, as well as independent and assisted living facilities.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday – Friday, Days
Salary & Compensation: $33/hr - $37/hr

Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant
- MD Licensed PTA, or the ability to apply
- At least 1 year of experience working with the geriatric population in long term care / skilled nursing settings
