We're currently supporting a reputable, progressive multi-site healthcare organization that is seeking full-time Physical Therapists for one of their state-of-the-art Outpatient facilities in Anne Arundel County MD.

At a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work alongside and collaborate within a team of Physicians, Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Patient Population: You will work with patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions and sports injuries. VERY minimal Medicare cases
- On average, 60% post-op, 40% orthopedic, non-operational.
- Engage with a diverse demographic, boasting a considerable number of sports-related patients.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/wk
• Open to (4) 10 hr days/wk – OR – (5) 8 hr days/wk
• Flexible hours with a requirement of 1-2 days/wk until 7pm
• NO Weekends!
As a Full-time, Outpatient Physical Therapist, responsibilities include:
- Conducts comprehensive evaluation to determine appropriate course of care for each patient and follow up treatments as appropriate.
- Performs and documents tests and measurements appropriate for the given condition which may include strength, range of motion, sensory perception, functional capacity, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency of the patient.
- Administers physical therapy treatments and monitors such treatment within the scope of physical therapy practice as appropriate for the patient's condition to decrease pain, increase range of motion and strength and promote function. These treatments may include but not be limited to therapeutic interventions such as modalities, therapeutic procedures, manual therapy, written home exercise programs.
- Assesses effects of treatments at various stages, but minimally every 30 days, and adjusts treatment to achieve maximum benefit.
- Document treatments, responses, progress, and outcomes in the chart of the patient according to federal and state regulations and company requirements
- Documents and selects appropriate CPT codes which correlate to treatment administered. Selects codes and submits billing charges in a manner consistent with the amount and level of care provided for each patient.
- Abides by all insurance guidelines required for insurance coverage and reimbursement, coordinating care in accordance with current authorizations, referrals, treatment plans and insurance benefits requirements.
- Supervises physical therapist assistants and related therapy support staff during treatments.as dictated by his/her respective state PT Practice Act and federal regulations.
- Supervises and assists with student observation/clinical rotation, as applicable and according to federal and state regulations.
- Works in collaboration with, and communicates effectively with, other medical providers for the purpose of benefitting the patient’s recovery and ensuring successful outcomes.
- Actively participates on the Therapy team, including but not limited to staff meetings, sponsored events, webinars, in-services, and departmental meetings.
- Obtains necessary CEUs and other state specific requirements in order to actively maintain Physical Therapy license and other any other required licenses or certifications.
- Provides direct patient care 100% of his/her work time which includes required documentation in patients' medical records
Salary/Compensation: $80,000 - $105,000/yr (+/- depending on experience)

Qualifications:
• MD Licensed Physical Therapist, or the ability to apply
• A strong background and clinical experience working with the orthopedic patient population in an outpatient setting
• 1-3 years of experience as an Outpatient Physical Therapist, preferred.
