GHR Healthcare is seeking Pediatric NPs for cardiology – INPATIENT! NP must have pediatric hospital experience working with cardiology.
Location: Los Angeles, California
Will need pediatric cardiac care experience, that would be what we are looking for. A lot of times they will work in ambulatory only or heart failure or electrophysiology, this role is acute care. Hospital based only.
We have a day shift and overnight coverage schedule available.
Acute care – 12-hour shifts are more appropriate here. Usually 3 shifts per week – 7-7p
About the unit:
21 bed unit. Half of the patients are surgical, and half are medical. This covers the medical side of the unit. At a high its 14 patients, on average there are 10-11 and usually have a resident and fellow on shift as well. During a busy day you may be responsible for 5, overnights is slower would have more like 10 patients. Checking in, responding to urgent needs during overnights.
Patient Population: Heart failure will be around those, but more focused on cardiac care. Ages are infants to 21 years old. On average we see toddlers through school age
How many physicians on the team? Daytime – 2 there is an attending and a Fellow (first through third year fellows)
