GHR Search is currently partnered with a large, highly-reputable healthcare system in Lehigh County, PA seeking experienced Patient Authorization Specialists.

This will be a temporary contract assignment, with the possibility of transitioning to permanent employment.

Position Details:

• $18 per hour
• Onsite Monday – Friday
• Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Weekly Direct Deposit
• Health Benefits available

Job Summary:

• Responsible for gathering/maintaining patient demographic and financial information
• Review outstanding pre-cert requests and ensure authorization is obtained/documented accurately
• Communicates with insurance companies to obtain insurance verification and pre-certs for approval
• Verifies and obtains clinical information and insurance authorization/referrals
• Collaborates with Physicians, Providers, and Office Staff

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with insurance verification/authorizations in a large, fast-paced environment
