A reputable, multi-site healthcare organization is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor for the Emergency Department within one of their multiple hospitals in the Philadelphia area.  We are seeking a motivated leader to oversee daily registration functions and ensure a positive patient experience. This role is crucial in managing the operational unit efficiently and effectively.

Job Details

• Location: Northeast Philadelphia

• Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

• Employment Type: Permanent

• Salary: $64,000 - $95,000 per year

Job Requirements

• Associate’s degree in healthcare or business administration, or 5+ years in a physician office or hospital setting

• Minimum of 2 years of patient registration experience

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare EHR systems like EPIC or Cerner

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules and ensure department coverage

• Monitor attendance and manage corrective actions

• Conduct staff evaluations and provide feedback

• Oversee financial compliance and daily deposits

• Mentor staff and promote a collaborative environment

• Participate in hiring and training new employees

• Address patient complaints and improve processes

• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
