Staff Physical Therapist - Outpatient - Coweta County, GA

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Staff Physical Therapist in Coweta County GA. Work in a spacious, well-equipped clinic dedicated to providing top-notch outpatient physical therapy. Our mission is to ensure patients enjoy therapy and see clear health improvements. Newnan, known for its charming historic downtown and vibrant community, offers a welcoming environment for both work and leisure.

Job Details

  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • Hours Per Week: 40
  • Shift: 8 Hour Days, Monday to Friday, with 2-3 evenings per week
  • Caseload: Approximately 55 patients per week
  • Salary: Starting at $75,000 - $100,000y/yr
  • Bonuses: Monthly bonus plan and special bonuses twice a year based on clinic performance

Job Requirements

  • Doctorate or Masters in Physical Therapy
  • Valid Physical Therapy License
  • At least 1 year of experience in an outpatient setting preferred
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients to help them recover from injuries, manage pain, and regain mobility
  • Develop and implement plans of care with measurable, functional goals
  • Educate patients on treatment options and home exercises
  • Supervise aides in their duties and ensure compliance with clinic protocols
  • Monitor and re-evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed
  • Address pain management as a crucial component of care
  • Document evaluations, re-evaluations, discharges, and daily progress notes accurately and timely
  • Participate in research studies and contribute to the development of treatment protocols
  • Engage in continuous professional development through CEUs and other learning opportunities
