Job Description

Physical Therapist - Outpatient Clinic

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Staff Physical Therapist at our Palatine, IL outpatient clinic. You will have the opportunity to work in a supportive environment, providing top-notch care to our patients. Palatine is a vibrant community known for its excellent schools, parks, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to live and work.

Job Details

  • Location: Palatine, IL
  • Setting: Outpatient Clinic
  • Caseload: 8-10 patients per day
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8-hour day shifts
  • Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
  • Weekends: No weekends

Job Requirements

  • Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by APTA
  • Active, unrestricted Illinois PT license
  • At least one (1) year of clinical experience in outpatient settings
  • Physically able to lift 35 pounds
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to provide three (3) positive, professional references

Responsibilities

  • Perform initial and interim assessments and evaluations of clients' level of functioning
  • Revise treatment plans through identification of new goals as necessary
  • Supervise the PTA and paraprofessionals as required by policy and state regulations
  • Comply with standard precautions, infection control, and safety procedures
  • Provide patient and family education as appropriate
