Oncology Data Coordinator

A large, non-profit, multi-site healthcare system is seeking an Oncology Data Coordinator for one of the multiple hospitals in the Montgomery County area.

They are seeking a certified cancer registrar and credentialed health information specialist who is responsible for all aspects of cancer registry data services in accordance with state law and the ACoS CoC. In addition, the Oncology Data Coordinator is responsible for providing overall leadership and responsibility for developing and implementing operational policies and procedures that ensure compliance with data standards and reporting requirements and provides guidance for the implementation of and compliance with cancer program standards necessary for CoC approval.

Experience / Skills / Certifications:

• Three to five years minimum experience in Cancer Registry
• Minimum of one ACOS COC survey
• Certified Cancer Tumor Registrar

Salary/Compensation: $35,000 - $70,000/yr (+/- DOE)
