Clinical Nurse Director - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)
A large, non-profit and magnet status health system is seeking an experienced, career-focused Nursing Director for the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) within one of their multiple hospitals in the greater Philadelphia area.
While reporting to the Senior Director of Critical Care, the MICU Nursing Director will be responsible for complete clinical and operational oversight of a 20+ bed Medical Intensive Care Unit, consisting over about 50 FTE’s, as well as Unit Specialized Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
This is a great opportunity to for an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager or Director that is looking to expand their knowledge and skillset in both Critical Care and Nursing Leadership, while overseeing and providing support for a seasoned team of skilled nurses.
Salary/Compensation: $90,000 – 140,000/yr (Depending on experience)

Experience / Qualifications:
- BSN required, MSN or MBA - highly preferred
- A strong clinical background working in critical care, preferably within the Medical Intensive Care Unit, Intensive Care Unit or Surgical Intensive Care Unit
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership role – ideally as a Nurse Manager or Director
- Experience working within a magnet status institution, highly preferred
- CCRN highly preferred
