Job Details
- Compensation: $160,000 - $170,000
- Employment Type: Permanent
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday, no weekends
- Shift Duration: 8 Hour Days
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Nursing
- 4-6 years of Nurse Practitioner experience, with a focus on population health, primary/family care, or nephrology preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Current license to practice in the state of California
- NP National Credentialing
- Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, documentation, and evaluation
- Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance
Responsibilities
- Serve as the clinical lead for a team of Nurse Practitioners, providing oversight, coaching, and supervision
- Ensure NP quality and productivity, including documentation, appropriate diagnoses, and accurate coding
- Support NP hiring efforts and oversee onboarding of new NPs
- Provide ongoing clinical guidance and training to NPs
- Lead complex case reviews and support complex case escalations
- Collaborate with Medical Officer and Operations leadership on clinical and operational strategy
- Comply with organizational policies and procedures in accordance with State and Federal regulations
