Nurse Manager – Observation Unit / Nursing Float Pool

A large, Non-Profit Hospital Health System in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Region is currently seeking a dynamic Nursing Leadership Professional to lead the operations within the Observation Unit and Nursing Float Pool Divisions. The Nurse Manager of Observation and Nursing Float Pool will be joining a seasoned Nursing Leadership Team within this Community Acute Care Hospital. This hospital health system is one of the largest multi-hospital health systems in the Philadelphia Region offering financial stability, professional career growth and job security.

Job Details:

• Responsible for the direction and clinical support hospital-wide to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care through efficient utilization of nursing and material resources
• Oversees the Hospital Nursing Supervisors, Float Pool, Central Monitoring, Patient Transport and Patient Placement and the Staffing Office
• Daily operations and clinical oversight of a 15 bed Observation Unit, ensuring quality patient care delivery
• Reports to the Director of Nursing
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule with 24/7 accountability for the department.
• Salary ranges from $95K- $125K +/- based on experience and educational credentials

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Non-Nursing Bachelor’s Degree with MSN or DNP required
• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Business or Healthcare related field required
• 3 years of experience in Leadership within the hospital setting required
• 3 years of clinical nursing experience in the acute care setting required
• BLS and ACLS Required
• RN licensure in state of PA required
• Management Certification preferred
