We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our Behavioral Health / Psych unit in an acute care setting in New Jersey. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care, compliance with regulations, and the overall management of the unit. Job Details

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Schedule: Full-time, 6:45 am - 3:15 pm
• Salary: $120,000 - $160,000/yr (Depending on experience)
• Start Date: November 18, 2024

Job Requirements

• Current NJ RN License
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Three (3) years' experience as a Registered Nurse in behavioral health or acute care
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs
• Strong sense of accountability and focus on teamwork
• Dedication to ongoing education and delivering high-quality care

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 accountability for the assigned unit(s)
• Manage daily operations and ensure compliance with healthcare policies and procedures
• Develop and monitor budgetary and financial priorities
• Promote cost-effective use of organizational resources
• Demonstrate leadership skills and effective communication
• Supervise and evaluate educational programs and evidence-based practice
• Support the Magnet Program and shared governance model
• Incorporate organizational goals into standard work
• Address complaints and opportunities for improvement
