GHR Search is in search of a Remote APP – Full Time – Direct Hire
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and clinically trained Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to enhance our clinical outcomes and boost the accuracy of diagnosis codes and quality measures. This individual will play a pivotal role in our clinical operations team, serving as both a role model and facilitator, aligning with the department's vision. They should possess self-direction, advanced analytical skills, critical thinking abilities, creativity, and the foresight to identify opportunities and potential issues.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree with an active clinical license (APRN) (mandatory).
Current Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) licensure without restrictions in the state of residence (mandatory).
CRC (mandatory or obtainable within six months of hire).
CCDS-O or CDIP (mandatory or obtainable within one year of hire).
5+ years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner (adult-geriatric or family) or Physician Assistant (mandatory).
3+ years of clinical documentation improvement experience, coding experience, or equivalent (mandatory).
1+ year of experience working with advanced practice providers and other clinical and non-clinical staff (mandatory).
A top-tier candidate for our Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) APP role will also have:
Expert-level knowledge of Medicare risk adjustment, documentation, and coding requirements.
At least 2 years of experience providing risk adjustment education or management.
Over 4 years of experience developing educational content for clinical professionals, including NPs, RNs, physicians, pharmacists, etc.
A master’s degree in business, Education, Instructional design, Nursing, or related fields.
Coding certification from AAPC or AHIMA professional coding association or additional coursework/experience in coding and Risk Adjustment, such as CPC, CRC, CCDS-O, or CDIP (preferred).
Salary Range:
$100,000 to $130,000 per year, dependent on experience.
