Exciting Opportunity for Pediatric NP in San Francisco, CA
Location: San Francisco, CA
Coverage Type: Scheduled + No Call
Pay Rate:
Local - $5368.00 Weekly
Travel - $5672.00 Weekly ($2884.00 Weekly MLA Stipends) (Must meet the GSA Guidelines)
Schedule: Weekdays/Weekends, rotating basis. Day shifts, 4x10hrs, 7a-5:30p

Work Details: We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at a leading hospital in San Francisco, CA. This position will primarily support our Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant unit. The ideal candidate will excel in an inpatient pediatric setting and preferably have experience in Bone Marrow Transplant.
Support Staff: You will work alongside 3 highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who provide excellent support.
Amount of Coverage Needed Per Month: You will be scheduled for 4 shifts per week on a rotating basis.
Patient Load: On average, you will care for approximately 12 patients per day. The maximum patient-to-provider ratio is 6:1, with the usual ratio being 4:1.
Patient Population/Age: You will exclusively care for pediatric patients undergoing Bone Marrow Transplant procedures.
Department Description: Our Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant unit is renowned for its comprehensive care and is supported by a team of dedicated MDs and APPs. While prior Bone Marrow Transplant experience is preferred, it is not required. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable and confident in their abilities within an inpatient pediatric setting.
EMR: We utilize EPIC for our electronic medical records.
Hospital Bed Size: Our hospital accommodates 183 beds.
Special Procedures: Specific procedures will be determined based on patient needs and departmental requirements.
Skills Required: Experience in Bone Marrow Transplant is highly preferred.
