NP - Cardiac

Join Our Team! Cardiothoracic PA/NP Opportunity in Clackamas, OR

Duration: ASAP – 3-6 Months (with option to extend)

Practice Setting: Hospital & Clinic settings (may cover some clinic depending on clinic provider's departure)

Pay Rate:

Local: $132.00 -$140 HR

Travel: ESTIMATED Weekly Take Home: $4,607/week after an estimated 25% tax rate                               

Untaxed: $191/day MLA for each day that you are on assignment duplicating expenses (Estimated $1337/week)                                                                               

Daily Responsibilities:

• Inpatient Rounding
• Operating Room (Mainly Hospital)
• Depending on the case, 1 provider scheduled for OR, 1 backup, and 2 for rounding.
• Approximately 2 OR cases per day, 10-15 patients per day for rounding
• Procedures include pulling Epicardial Wires, Chest Tubes, Vein Harvesting, proficiency in EVH, and First Assist
• Radial artery harvest experience

Shifts/Schedule Expectations:

• OR: 7:00a-3:45p
• Inpatient Rounding: 7:15a-3:45p (Monday through Friday)

Call Schedule/Responsibilities:

• 1:4 Rotation between providers (weekday and weekend)
• Weekdays: Few calls, rarely go in
• Weekends: AM rounding for a few hours, on-call for the remainder
• Call is preferred but NOT required.

Patient Load (PPD/Census):

• Generally, 2 OR cases per day, 10-15 patients per day if rounding

EMR: EPIC

Qualifications:

Active Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner (RNFA Certification Required if NP)

Active BLS and DEA

Board Certification
