Join Our Team: Nurse Practitioner Opportunity in West Philadelphia!
This role involves providing direct clinical care to a diverse patient population in West Philadelphia. Our practice serves patients from various locations, including Delaware, New Jersey, and suburban Philadelphia. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with top professionals and contribute to innovative patient care, research, and education.
Pay Rate: 78-90 Hourly (Plus Mileage)
Schedule is flexible with average hours being 9a-5p
Need someone who wants to travel and work with a variety of clients in SNF, LTC and Homecare settings.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct clinical care to patients according to established protocols and evidence-based practice standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, documenting all evaluations, diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Identify and clarify the role of the nurse practitioner to patients and families as needed.
- Serve as a role model to peers and the healthcare team, demonstrating professional responsibility.
- Conduct approved therapeutic or diagnostic procedures based on patient needs.
- Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and preventive care.
Credentials:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS/CPR) required.
- Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) licensure required.
- Prescriptive Authority required.
- National Board Certification required.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
- Master of Arts or Science in Nursing required.
- New graduates or those with less than 2.5 years of experience must be reviewed by the Credentials Committee and approved by the Medical Board.
- Specialization: Master's Degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nursing.
