Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist – CRNA

GHR Search is seeking skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to fill over 10 openings at a leading hospital in South Jersey.

Our Locum Tenens CRNAs will perform a full range of professional duties in a full-functioning capacity. All positions have an immediate start (contingent upon completion of the onboarding process), with potential to transition to permanent employment.

Responsibilities:

• Administers anesthesia under clinical supervision of staff anesthesiologists
• Demonstrates the skills necessary to provide care appropriate for all patient populations
• Displays the knowledge to monitor/manage patients under regional, general or MAC anesthesia
• Responds to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids and drugs, and using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques
• Accurately assesses airway and plans for anticipated difficulties
• Conducts a thorough review of patient’s charts to include history and physical, diagnostic testing, and a current physical assessment
• Performs clinical teaching to nurse anesthesia students, medical students, and residents

Details:

• 10 – 15 needs within all specialties – ASAP start date!
• 13-week contract assignment with possibility to extend
• Shifts: range from 8s to 24s; may rotate if desired
• On Call: flexible
• Weekly Pay rates from $5,000/week plus on call pay

The Ideal Candidate:

• MSN or DNP in Nurse Anesthesia is required
• Active New Jersey APN and RN license is required
• Valid, unrestricted CDS and DEA license
• Board eligible or Board certified as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist
• Prior experience as a licensed provider in a hospital or ASC setting
• ACLS is preferred, BLS is required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; clinical flexibility; able to work in a team
• Ability to provide three (3) positive, professional references
• Completion of compliance checklist prior to your first day
