Interim Infection Prevention Manager - Pennsylvania Healthcare Jobs

We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Infection Prevention Manager for a 13-week assignment in Pennsylvania. This critical healthcare role involves managing and directing the infection prevention program to ensure patient and staff safety. The successful candidate will utilize evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, focusing on joint commission readiness for infection prevention.

Job Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: February 17, 2025
  • Shift: 8 Hour Days, 5 shifts per week
  • Estimated Salary Range: $2380 to $2550 per week

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Microbiology, or related field
  • 3 years of acute care infection prevention experience required
  • Management experience required
  • PA RN License or MLS ASCP
  • CIC Certification (or obtain within 2 years)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Expertise in data collection, analysis, and report writing

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the infection prevention program
  • Conduct surveillance of nosocomial infections and analyze data
  • Ensure compliance with NHSN, PA DOH, TJC, and other regulatory bodies
  • Develop and implement HAI prevention goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with Environmental Services and Plant Operations
  • Provide consultation and education on infection control
  • Organize and participate in Infection Prevention meetings
  • Evaluate and develop staff performance and competencies
