Hematologist/Oncologist - Permanent Position in Anderson, SC

Join a dynamic healthcare team at a state-of-the-art Cancer Center in Anderson, SC, located along South Carolina's National Heritage Corridor. Anderson is a vibrant community known for its family-friendly atmosphere and affordable living, offering a plethora of recreational activities.

Job Details

  • Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
  • Location: Anderson, SC
  • Start Date: June 9, 2025
  • Shift: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, with slight variations possible
  • On Call: Cover practice call and inpatient for Oncology patients (no weekends)
  • Salary Range: $500,000-$750,000 annually, depending upon training and experience

Job Requirements

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Medical Oncology (Board Certified is highly preferred)
  • Completed fellowship in Hematology/Medical Oncology
  • South Carolina Medical License (or willing to obtain)
  • Clean Malpractice License History
  • Open to H1B and J1 visa candidates

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care in outpatient clinic and hospital rounds
  • Manage approximately 1200 new cancer cases per year
  • Average number of patients per day: 15-25
  • Collaborate with a robust team of oncology supportive services
  • Participate in nationwide clinical trials through UC-NCORP
