Gynecologic Oncologist - Permanent Healthcare Position in Grand Rapids, MI

Join our rapidly expanding cancer network as a dedicated Gynecologic Oncologist in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This permanent healthcare position offers the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team, providing advanced medical and surgical treatment to patients throughout their cancer care journey.

Job Details

  • Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Zip: 49503)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift: 12-hour days; combination of clinic and hospital duties with 1-2 OR days per week
  • Employment Type: Permanent
  • On-Call: Call responsibilities shared in a 1:3 rotation

Job Requirements

  • Fellowship-trained in Gynecologic Oncology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible (must be board certified within 2 years of eligibility)
  • Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA license
  • ACLS and BLS certified
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Gynecologic Oncology

Responsibilities

  • Manage patients throughout their cancer care journey, prioritizing quality of life and symptom management
  • Participate in clinic and hospital-based care with 1-2 OR days per week
  • Work in a multidisciplinary team with APPs, nurse/financial navigators, social work, palliative care, and genetics
  • Utilize advanced technologies including daVinci robotics, TrueBeam, CyberKnife, and brachytherapy
  • Operate within The Cancer Network of West Michigan, a joint venture with University of Michigan Health-West
