RN – Director of Patient Services– Home Health

A local and REPUTABLE Healthcare organization is currently seeking a Director of Patient Services for their growing Homecare Company based out of Brooklyn. This organization has been the one of the Premier Providers of home care services to patients throughout New York for over 10 years.

The ideal candidate would have at least three (3) years of successful experience as a Home Health Nurse in a leadership role within a Licensed Home Care Agency. A successful Director of Patient Services will possess a significant amount of formal supervisory experience in home health care. Substantive interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills also required.

Requirements:

• MUST have at least 2 years of experience working within the home providing direct patient care
• Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing is highly preferred,
• NY RN License
• Skilled in areas of staff education and development, clinically able to mentor field staff- conduct staff in-services
• OASIS- must be familiar with review, but will not be doing OASIS coding- no experience necessary
• Computer literacy is a must- complete computer documentation
• Must have at least two years of Management Experience
