Clinical Laboratory Scientist – ASCP

GHR Search is currently partnered with a large, nonprofit multi hospital health system who is seeking a professional and experienced Clinical Lab Scientist to join their growing team! You will be joining an experienced team of laboratory professionals in this small, acute care hospital located just outside the city of Philadelphia. While experience is highly preferred, this department is willing to provide training to a new graduate who has successfully completed a clinical rotation. Responsibilities:

• Perform chemical, biological, immunologic, microscopic, and bacteriological testing regarding the diagnosis and treatment of disease
• Follow lab procedures for specimen handling
• Perform lab procedures
• Review accuracy and completeness of lab results
• Follow protocols involving patient results
• Operate lab instruments and handle routine maintenance as needed
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team to provide services to patients and community members

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree required; can be in biology
• ASCP preferred
• Must have completed MLT program and clinical rotations.

Compensation:

$26-$32/hour

Shift differential

Hours:

Monday to Friday 3p-11:30p

Sunday to Thursday 11p-7:30am

Monday to Friday 12p-8:30p

Monday to Friday 10:45pm-7:15am
