We are seeking dedicated Night Shift Registered Nurse Educators who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are ready to make a profound impact on our clinical staff.
As a Night Shift RN Educator with a focus on Med/Surg, you'll be at the forefront of advancing clinical skills and knowledge, ensuring our team is prepared to handle the most complex trauma cases with precision and care. This is your opportunity to lead, innovate, and contribute to a culture of excellence in one of the most challenging and rewarding healthcare environments.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead Clinical Education: Oversee the training of nurses, techs, and more on your shift. Focus on orienting new-to-practice nurses, especially in med/surg, to ensure they excel.
- Innovate and Inspire: Work with existing education plans and get creative with curriculum development. Shape the future of nursing education with your innovative ideas.
- Dynamic Environment: Flexibility to meet the education needs of both day, evening and night shift team members.
- Full-time Nights: 5 shifts of 8 hours each, with the flexibility to adjust for personal needs. Prefer 4 ten-hour shifts? We can make it work!
- Day Shift Occasional: Occasionally work day shifts for team meetings or unit council. Your schedule can adapt to your lifestyle!
- Education: MSN in Nursing Education required. In progress? Apply as a Clinical Educator 1 and advance to Clinical Educator II upon completion.
- Licensing: NJ RN License or Compact RN License.
- Certifications: AHA BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire. Advanced certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
