Job Details

• Employment Type: Permanent
• Hours Per Week: 40 hours/wk
• Shift: 8 Hour Days

Job Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist (Required)
• 1 year of experience in a supervisory role (Preferred)
• High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiology program (Required)

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of the Mammography Department, overseeing administrative, fiscal, and technical activities.
• Supervise and support the Mammography technical and clerical staff.
• Maintain ACR Accreditation and ensure compliance with MQSA, state, and Joint Commission requirements.
• Coordinate scheduling of examinations with referring physicians and radiologists.
• Ensure quality control and high standards in diagnostic imaging services.
• Participate in training programs and supervise student technologists.
• Maintain inventory controls and manage departmental supplies efficiently.
• Adhere to hospital safety standards and promote a safe working environment.
