Assistant Director of Nursing ( Registered Nurse ) – Congregate Living Healthcare Facility

GHR Search is representing a healthcare organization that provides rehabilitation services to patients across the lifespan suffering from Neurological injuries, conditions and disorders. One of the services they provide is residential rehabilitation, providing long term inpatient rehab care, helping patients to regain their independence.

The Assistant Director of Nursing ( ADON ) will provide leadership and oversight to this 15 bed inpatient rehab facility, supporting the efforts of the Director of Nursing.

Duties:

• Management of all risk management and infection control activities for the facility
• Staff scheduling, training and orientation
• Clinical oversight of patient care, ensuring quality care delivery to all residents
• Complete daily rounds on all residents
• Design, implement and deliver ongoing training and education for all clinical staff
• Participate in administrative on call rotation with leadership team

Qualifications:

• 4 years of Nursing Experience preferably within an inpatient congregate living facility
• 2 years of Nurse Manager or Supervisory experience
• Valid RN license in the state of California
• Ability to provide 3 professional references documenting positive work performance and patient care delivery
• Strong communication skills both written and oral
