Advanced Practice Provider – Family Medicine Clinic

Join a supportive, community-focused family medicine clinic located in a quiet town in central South Dakota. This position offers autonomy in practice, a collaborative work environment, and a flexible compensation structure designed to support long-term provider success.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with at least 2–3 years of clinical experience to serve as the sole provider in a well-established family medicine clinic. You'll work alongside an experienced Medical Assistant and have full administrative support.

Daily Patient Volume: 5–6 patients/day on average

Clinic Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (clinic may close earlier based on volume)

No call, no weekends, no nights

EMR: Meditech (EPIC experience also highly valued)
Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $115,000 - $135,000/year

Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Highly flexible

CME Allowance: Up to $5,000 annually + 10 CME days

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2–3 years of NP or PA experience in a primary care or family medicine setting

Comfortable working independently as the sole provider

Licensed or eligible for licensure in South Dakota

Current DEA, CPR/AED, ACLS (ATLS a plus)

Familiarity with Meditech or comparable EMR systems

This provider will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with South Dakota regulations and organizational standards. Responsibilities include:

Comprehensive patient evaluations and physicals

Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests

Preventive care, chronic disease management, and treatment planning

Minor procedures, immunizations, and wound care
-
Patient education and health counseling
-
Collaborating with a supervising physician as needed
