Registered Nurse – Acute Care

Are you a compassionate Nurse but looking to leave the hospital setting and have more flexibility in your day? This opportunity could be the one for you! Large healthcare system is seeking a FULL TIME Acute Care Registered Nurse to join their team! As the ACRN, you will assist patients with different medical care per patient’s care plan, as well as work with families and health care providers to meet the patient’s needs to live a comfortable life in their home. The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of inpatient nursing experience preferably in Med/surg. You will be joining a financially stable, rapidly growing hospital affiliated team that is recognized for their all-star patient care delivery throughout the Tacoma area!

Responsibilities:

• Perform nursing and safety assessments, prescribe and administer medications, and implement protocols regarding patient status
• Visit patients at least 2 times per day to assess their condition and administer medications as needed
• Collaborate with family members and appropriate resources regarding patient’s care plan
• Evaluate and revise care plan as needed
• Collect specimens as required
• Educate patient on their condition
• Document all assessments
• Insert foley catheters
• Other duties as needed

Schedule:

Full time hours

3 12’s

7am-7pm OR 9am-9pm

Salary: $37-$41/hour

Qualifications:

• MUST be RN licensed in the state of WA
• 3-5 years of inpatient experience in med/surg as RN
• BLS Certification required
• ASN required
• Experience providing RN care in the home or clinic preferred
• Ability to work independently
