Shift: Monday – Friday 8a – 5p
Pay Rate: $45.00 - $53.00 HR (paid weekly and eligible for health benefits) Based on level of experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough physical therapy screenings, evaluations, and treatments for residents, ensuring adherence to your scope of practice and established guidelines.
- Collaborating with responsible physicians to determine and recommend appropriate physical therapy services in alignment with individual resident care plans.
- Documenting resident progress in various formats including daily treatment encounter notes, weekly progress reports, and discharge summaries within Optima HCS.
- Providing supervision to Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) in accordance with State Practice Act regulations.
- Pursuing continuing education units (CEUs) as mandated by State Board requirements.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a graduate degree from an APTA accredited Physical Therapy Program or its equivalent for foreign trained therapists.
