We are currently partnered with one of the Leading Academic and Top Healthcare providers in the region and currently hiring a dedicated Registered Nurse, Clinical Educator to join our dynamic team of masters prepared nurses with a specialized focus on innovative and evidence -based practices for the Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse, Clinical Nurse Educator will be responsible for providing education and training to nursing staff, patients, supporting clinical team members transitioning to practice and ongoing professional development for the Emergency Department. As the Registered Nurse (RN) Emergency Department Clinical Educator you will ensure that new hire, preceptor and general development needs are met for both dayshift and nightshift team members.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree strongly preferred or in process of completion.
• At least 3 years of nursing clinical practice in Emergency Department and direct patient care required.
• 1 year of clinical nurse education experience
• Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center, Emergency Department or Critical Care Units.
• Specialty Certification highly preferred.
• BSN required
• NJ RN License OR Compact RN License
• AHA BLS required.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

Description:

• Clinical Educator will work collaboratively with the leadership team and entire educator workforce to educate new to practice to advanced emergency department nurses.
• Clinical Educator is a member of a dynamic team of masters prepared nurses with a focus on innovative and evidence-based practices that support clinical team members transition to practice and ongoing professional development in the Emergency Department or individualized units or specialty.
• Work collaboratively with the leadership team, Advanced Practice Providers, Emergency Medicine Residents, Medical Students, Disaster Medicine Fellows and Emergency Medical Service Fellows.
• Clinical education with curriculum/education plans from the Emergency Department but open to someone who is creative and interested in building their own plans eventually.

Salary:

• $116,000 - $158,000

• Full-Time, Nights 4,10's 7p-5a w/ flex weekend coverage
